Delete Your Account

1. Who this applies to

This page applies to authorised users of SiteWrite Ltd who hold a login for our applications at app.sitewrite.ai or admin.sitewrite.ai. It explains how you can exercise your right to delete your account and associated personal data.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only wish to stop receiving marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in any such email instead, without deleting your account.

2. How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your account at any time from within the SiteWrite app:
  1. Open the SiteWrite app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile from the menu.
  3. Scroll to the Delete account section.
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. Confirm by entering your password, then tap Permanently delete.

Your account is deleted immediately once confirmed. We ask for your password at this step to make sure the request is genuinely yours.

3. Deleting your account by email

If you cannot access the app, email hello@sitewrite.ai from your registered email address and ask us to delete your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will respond within one calendar month.

4. What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
  • your login credentials (your email address and password);
  • your profile — including your name, contact details and signature image; and
  • any feedback you submitted through the app.

5. What is kept, and for how long

Surveys and reports you completed remain with your firm, but are anonymised so that they are no longer linked to you. Your firm requires these records for its own professional, contractual and regulatory purposes, and remains the controller of them. They are retained for the duration of the firm’s subscription and in line with the firm’s own retention obligations.
5.2
Operational AI usage logs are anonymised (no longer linked to you) and retained for service diagnostics and audit, in line with the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy.
5.3
Other than anonymised records of the kind described above, and any records we are required by law to retain (for example, accounting records), we do not keep personal data that identifies you after your account is deleted.

6. If you are a firm administrator

6.1
If you are the only administrator for your firm, you must assign another team member as administrator before you can delete your own account, so that your firm is not left without an administrator. The app will prompt you if this applies.

7. Legal basis
